Stop-and-Go

10/22/12

There's no need to repeat myself as I have already said in my blog on my last lesson. So we can cut to the chase. This lesson was the first lesson in which I had done handled the radio communication. I had been practicing on a simulator so I am already pretty good at the way things work over the radios. Although I was comfotable doing it, I was still a little nervous.

After takeoff, we did the usual Basic 4, slow flight, both types of stalls, steep turns, and the pattern.

The only difference to this lesson was that as we slowed down on our landing roll, Craig insturcted me to stop right on the runway. Runway 24 at JXN is long enough to complete a stop and go without completing a 180 turnaround on the runway. We completed a stop-and-go, did the pattern again, and one more full stop landing this time.

We taxied back and that was that. This lesson was just a review lesson because I hadn't flown in a couple weeks.
